From the moment Caroline Elliott first clipped into a pair of skis at the age of ten, she knew the mountains would shape her life. That childhood spark grew into a career defined by courage, curiosity, and care for others. As the founder of FjordSAR, named after her loyal search and rescue dog, Caroline combines years of frontline experience with a deep passion for education, teaching snow safety, avalanche awareness, and confident decision-making in unpredictable environments. She became the first British woman to serve in the French Fire and Rescue specialist mountain unit, earning advanced rescue qualifications at ENSA in Chamonix.
