International Speaker and Author Snow Safety Consultant and Educator Former Avalanche SAR Dog...
From the moment Caroline Elliott first clipped into a pair of skis at the age of ten, she knew the mountains would shape her life. That childhood spark grew into a career defined by courage, curiosity, and care for others. As the founder of FjordSAR, named after her loyal search and rescue dog, Caroline combines years of frontline experience with a deep passion for education, teaching snow safety, avalanche awareness, and confident decision-making in unpredictable environments. She became the first British woman to serve in the French Fire and Rescue specialist mountain unit, earning advanced rescue qualifications at ENSA in Chamonix. Today, through her talks, training, and writing, Caroline shares what the mountains have taught her: that true leadership comes from calm under pressure, trust in your team, and respect for the forces, human or natural, that shape every challenge.
